| Quantum, I don't believe for a second that you're human and not a robot purpose-built to crank out the most epic of mech designs.
Awesome work. | |

| Out of curiosity I wanted to see how many 1x16 bricks it would take to match the height of Harberd, it was a little over 6... it's almost a 3 foot tall mech... | |

However, I cant help but feel like that there is something is missing from Harberd's design... I would like the communities input on the matter, so if there is anything missing I can add or fix it before I submit it on MOC Pages. Any suggestions would be very helpful.

| Harberd is up on MOC Pages along with the lxf file, and be sure to give it a good inspection! [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] | |

| Holy Actual Crap, that Harberd thing is impressive. I haven't seen that level of nuance in a macro-scale design in a long time. Good use of sculpted shapes, dig the crap out of the way the vents have been assembled where they appear on the body. Since when was QI doing a macro-scale remake of Vandal, though? I created a remake about a year ago, and upon seeing the older version I got to thinking 'I [love] this up'. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]So I rebuilt it again. Just needs a fresh paintjob. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] | |

| Been working on some remakes recently. New pieces from LDD updates have helped me sculpt the kinds of shapes I want to make, which is hard to do in micro-scale because you don't have control over your shapes in any fine way. A few previews follow. In my infinite hubris, I procedurally deleted some of the originals as I recreated and improved upon the old build, so only two of these have a 'before' shot. | So, aside from picking color schemes and being really picky about how I ought to be building rifles (I realized that having fewer specialty pieces 4-5 years ago forced me to be more creative than I am now), I'm stuck working on a remake of something that was ostensibly inspired by the Chaos Gundam. I'm updating it because everything in my catalog is getting an update, but I'm still totally stumped on how to update the forearms. Need suggestions. | What is its role on the field? What is its load out? Are you looking to change any of that? If so, what are you looking to change it to?
Also, where and how does the cockpit open up on Vandal?

| It's a close combat shock-and-awe machine. It's ornate and flashy and it's called Nightmare. I don't know what else to say.
Vandal's cockpit is a mid-torso cockpit that open downward. Think of the Strike Gundam or the Mk. II.

| Maybe some shield bits on the arms or find a way to make the claws fold backward against the arm. | |

| More WIPs ahoy. All images with two models are set up so the original's on the left and the remake's on the right. [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] | |

| BACK FROM THE DEAD
Hey LEGO fam. It's been a hot minute.
I've been hosting a tabletop recently, and there are definitely robots in it. I've been designing 'stock' mecha for all sorts of occasions, and have been baking them in POV Ray (which takes so little time on a Ryzen 3700X, my dudes).
Where's a good place to host images these days?
