In LDD, they took away the ability to drag over multiple bricks with a selection tool and recolor them with the paint tool. ...Which means I have to recolor 1,000+ piece models by spending an hour clicking on each individual piece I may not like the color of.

You know, I think I might switch back to LDD 4.2...

Solution: Select the bricks you want to color >paint tool >select color >Click on the color you want >viola.

Hey, what do you say we get our roleplay back in gear? I suspect neither of us has completely finished our colony ships yet, but I really don't think it's too critical we do. I'll go dig out those rules from earlier and start adding the finer details and we ought to be able to start.

I think we should wait untill we have our colony ships built before we get in gear. then at least we'll have something to work with. Also I'm waiting for you to finish your Colony ship because i'm stuck and in need of inspiration.

Hmm. Shrink down the feet a bit, and maybe put the big legs more into proportion with the small arms. Otherwise, I love it.

that's only a first draft. I agree with you, something about the upper body doesn't look right proportions wise.
BTW, that grey one I posted a while back is up on MOCpages.

The torso's too narrow. Also I think you should rework the feet.

Besides that, I think its pretty good!

Not sure if like thigh canisters? They seem as if they would prevent full inward movement of the leg and even basic locomotion, and since the legs have articulate feet and knees I assume that this was meant to walk. Also, I'd like to see that hand-carried weapon with two symmetrical 'toothed' plates instead of one. Otherwise, a very eclectic and unique build. I can appreciate the colors used, too.

By thigh canisters you mean the grey tubes sticking out of the lower thigh, right? They don't prevent to much movement actually. It just takes really wide steps. I would've loved two toothed plated too, but I couldn't find any more. Ah well. BTW, this is up on MOCpages now.

LTE, a bit of a warning: the rules state no double posting before 24 hours have passed. You responding to Forte and the post directly after that only had 2-3 hours in between them. Same with the 3rd and 4th posts on this page, albeit that had a longer gap. Please keep this in mind when posting from now on. Hmm... that sounds like some sort of aerial/leader type mech, but that's not a combat speciality. Um, maybe aerial CQ (that's gives me an epic idea, can you imagine a mech built to fly right on up to an aircraft and tear away at it with melee and shotguns? Awesome) or some sort of anti-air but the weapons just don't fit with that so... no clue, it'll be a nice surprise.

Combat specialty: air assault Close combat. jetpack + sword + dual barrel assault rifle (not realistic, but who cares? )
