| Well that looks an awful lot like a Tauros, Richie. I wonder why that could possibly be. =D | |

| I'm not going to try to deceive, or even be subtle. That is not a "Tauros" but a Taurus. Specifically a Taurus III. | |

Thanks to Arik, It does. And LDD is useful to those of us ith a deficiency of joint-parts or uniform colors in our lego collections.

| So before you get to the pics of two versions of a light assault suit I've been working on for way too long, lemme explain some things. First, the color is just so that you can see the shape and get a feel for the different parts used to make it. It's not going to stay that way. Second, I'll probably end up having to change the hands so if you have suggestions suggest away! And third, I'll go ahead and point out the differences so you don't have to go looking for them like those "games" they put in "kid's magazines" so that their "parents" can get just that many more "seconds" of "silence:" Differences: Biceps Round plates on the lower leg studs Ankle area Foot size and design - Spoiler:

Feel free to suggest anything that could be improved upon. Also, if enough people want it, (read: if one person wants it) I can upload lxf files for both to Dropbox and post the link here.

| An LXF would be helpful. I'd like to get a closer look at the hands and that gun. I'm rocking those shoulders. | |

| Nice work. I like the gun, but I'm not too crazy about the hands. At this scale, your focus should be more on functionality than lifelike-ness. | |

Yeah, I'm starting to realize that... The whole humanoid hand thing worked okay on my previous project, but that was a heavy unit. Oh well. I'll find some other way to make the hands work. What usually gives me the most trouble is foot design and I think I've all but officially decided on the first design for that. Actually, I'm pretty sure the only thing I'll change from the first design to the second is the biceps. I feel like it helps solidify the smooth front design as a contrast to the heavily vented and edgier back.

Yes, yes, I know, copying off Chunk's work again. :PConstantly trying to outdo his incredible work, generally stealing his style and techniques if not making rip-offs of his actual designs and putting them out as my own. And while I managed to avoid copying the Titan II this time, it instead is based very heavily on the Pterosaur, so I may as well be back to square one. And guess what? - Spoiler:

That thing looks epic though. Diggin' the four-legged design. And you can't have a Walker without headlights!

| If you're thinking it's that thing with the Titan II's PBLs being mistaken for headlights, nope. This is just about the old running joke about Western walker-style Mechs always having headlights. | |

| I think that I will take a break from my Mobile Suits and go with a different line of mecha. I have been replaying a lot of the [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] games recently, so I want to create something along those lines. The AC that I always play and create is a biped that uses a very special color scheme and is named Harbinger. The name comes from being a synonym of sorts of [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]Here is the beginning of Harbinger. The basis of it is an updated model of my [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.], with the core being from [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]. The lower legs will have some bulk added to them, yet still maintain a streamlined appearance. The arms will be of the design that I have always used, but with some added features (i.e. moveable shoulder armor). The whole system is meant to be modular and can interface with current Helios Science Technology. If I could get some input from Sylphion himself as to how the numerical designator system works, that would be awesome. [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]What I always base my AC colors on: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]. The progress can be followed over on [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] | |

It's a fairly simple method, the first three letters are from the name of the unit series. For example, the Ver sai lles uses a designation of [ VSL ], and the Esio ne uses [ ESN ]. The numbers would designate the model used, the Versailles R using -03, since it's the third model produced. I originally used the 'GPM' prefix for the original Versailles as it stood for 'General Purpose Mech', but using the consonants (With exception of models using a vowel as its first letter like the Esione) of the model name looked cooler. The general rule to follow is to have a three letter prefix, followed by a two digit number: _ _ _ - ##

So if I were to take a Versailles R and strip it like I am doing now, does it still fall under the VSL designation? Also, I have an idea that I am working on that also follows this. When the original ESIONE was stolen and made into the Red Ivy, you stated that additional technology was added. What if some of that technology came from a remnant Blacktron faction, who in return for giving some of their tech was given access to the ESIONE so that they could produce their own mechas? The main Blacktron pilot will pilot one that is Blacktron I colors, whereas subsequent mechas are in Blacktron II colors. Here is what I have so far: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]I hit a builder's block with the Harbinger since I could not figure out a good head design that looked like the [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] from Armored Core. So far the mecha has a beam rifle, beam SMG (hip), dagger (hip), and beam sabers. One beam saber is mounted on each wrist, and three are mounted at the tip of the shield. I am debating on what shoulder armament to include. "All hail Blacktron!"

| Oh my god, Blacktron!
And yeah, it would still fall under the VSL designation under Helios databases, but individually, it could be renamed to something else and be using a different designation. Chances are, if Blacktron has stripped down and reverse engineered an Esione, they'd use their own Mech OS, thus rendering it unidentified by Helios IFFs, but would be recognised visually as an Esione.
Also, I really love how you made the Blacktron emblem on the shoulder.

| I figured that the giant emblem would definitely add an intimidation factor. It means either the pilot is really good and is confident and bold enough to proclaim that they are Blacktron, or they are really stupid. In this day and age, no one proclaims that they are Blacktron just for fun.
So the "rebuilt" Versailles (by rebuilt, I mean that it really only has the core and basic frame in common due to the new technology that has been added) would be fully designated as VSL-03 Versailles III: Harbinger Custom, just like how the 'Rudhirá' custom is named. Or am I totally off on that?
